Finally, we can throw away the huge pile of notecards that started coming in shortly after 'Deathrock Candy' was released! What notecards? Well, the ones that said you guys needed deathrock collars to go with the bracelets... because here they are! We couldn't decide on just one texture - so there are four collars in every package, and the velvet one includes texture change (so you can make it match the other velvet stuff we make). And Iron Trifecta has color change, too (and set glow/shine as well). Yeah, yeah - so we couldn't make up our minds, and now you get a bunch of collars, some with a bunch of features. =P

If you are a dedicated hunter during the Twisted Hunt events you by now know what the special hunt items are.

This is just a little bit of information just in case you don't know if you should the tackle the hunt, and talking with some close personal friends of mine they always conquer the hunts with special hunt previews.
Though it has been almost a week and a half into the March season. I thought it would be a very fair thing to do and show you a preview of the +DV8+ Hunt gift waiting for you to find and wear as your very own.

There is 3 different sets of items for you to acquire:

Hazmat Set:
This is the men's part of the gift in the hunt, not to mention one of my favorite outfits. A who doesnt love the biohazard, latex quality. Specially the 6 pack abs it creates for a harder, rougher look.

Not to mention it comes in 3 colors for you to choose from.

This set is for the woman it has a softer side. Again it sports the biohazard in the little belt on the skirt. ( can never get enough biohazard symbols )

Twisted Hunt- Strange Brew 2010

Like I have posted already before the Strange Brew is upon us..and being this super cool awesome month there is only 28 days in February so the Twisted Hunt starts tomorrow!.

Now how awesome is that?, you have to love how calendars work.

This post is alittle bit more information on this hunt that is gonna be add to the already trilogy of Twisted events.

March 1st - March 31st
This hunt is everything spooky, creepy, witchy to absinthe and evil scientists.
It will have 120 locations which is 20 more then the old ones and more of a chance for you to get your search on.

For the newbies to the Twisted Events..you hunt a tiny box which is usually animated ( this time around it is gonna be green ) and it is one of the hardest hunts IN Sl, But it is also challenging and the prizes are worth it.

This is an update for the hunts that are currently going/coming out.

The First is the ever so charming " The Burning Hearts Hunt" I know it is alittle bit late but it is better to be late and done it right then on time and make mistakes...least that is what I say. The hearts are medium size I would say avi palm size and has a burning essence to them. They have small flames coming from them though I dont see them animate so this is a still object a regular color. ( Kinda shown in the picture to the right)

The starting is here at Kastle Rock Couture, and has an even 100 places to search through. Though very early it will be continuing till Febuary 15th.

The new Beginning and Sad Ending

This blog is in reference to everything +DV8+ has accomplished within the year which it has been alive, From the store in general to the club next door Neurosix ( N6 ). +DV8+'s birthday has come and gone but it is never the end of the party in which the store is in general. There has been alot of events that has changed the way see +DV8+ and even some drama where people ended up in not so nice situations but the good always outcomes and outcounts the bad. Here are some examples of both places where they are equally the greatest places to be

1. Twisted Hunt- It was at this point where myself was around,maybe a few weeks before...But in September this one simple hunt with over 200+ locations beat out every hunt in that month and even the group outgrew in numbers...I still to this day see people walking around with Twisted Survivors.
2. Twisted Krissmuss- It was the twisted krissmuss this year that turned heads for that reason so many people got so many things this Christmas. This event was the kind in which many stores participated and they put 1 new item for 100L and made them Transferable so we could give people presents..
I liked that part specifically. Neurosix is a club that is right next to the +DV8+ store and it is owned by the same people that owns +DV8+ and besides the awesome look for everyone who loves Black and Yellowish orange. The club has lots of Unique people and is also now shown in the event page for anyone to see and join the events.

You've waited, and finally, the rewards of your patience have been bestowed upon you, with the release of Cyberina at +DV8+. In the normal ridiculous number of colors you've come to expect, you can create the complete cyber ballerina look you've always longed for. Well, I know I have at least.

If ballet is a little too much for you, there has also been a new shoe release. Yay! The new trashtalker boots fall just below mid calf with buckles and Iron Crosses to let people know you mean business, or that you just really like metal on your shoes.

The free and cheap stuff never ceases in +DV8+ as Vasha dropped a Cyberina four pack in the Riotvend, and this time? 25L my loves. How can you say no? Time to get the leashes and drag your best friends to snatch up this deal while it lasts.

On top of that, there is a *another* special edition of the Cyberina set sitting in the picks reward vendor, if you're lucky. Make sure you have +DV8+ in your picks, or you're going to miss out! And really, who doesn't love a little fall out in the morning?

Lucky chair protocol is changing! No more standards in the chair. When a new release is put out, a special edition of of the release is going to be stuffed into the lucky chairs. Right now you have four different versions of Cyberina in the lucky chairs, and the timers have been brought down to 10 minutes. On top of that you can also find the trashtalker boots in Gloomy hiding in the chairs if you're lucky. Get to camping kids! You'll be the prettiest girl in the chorus.

Curiousity Killed the Updates

Hello all you helplessly awesome shoppers and fellow deviants.
This is a very friendly update tad bit with alittle free flow jabber and lots of shockingly cool news.

First is the new January hunt for the moment, I only currently know of one hunt +DV8+ is in and of course if your a dedicated hunter like myself, you will know this hunt is one of the anticipated hunts to come by since the Twisted Hunt.

Its called " Death Becomes Her Hunt " by **MORBID MAUSOLSEUM MAINSTORE*
The title and cover explains it all and the " want want want want" look in my eyes.

The hunt item is a mask, a bold mysterious one but I do wonder is it gonna make it 10x harder to search for since it is a darker gray color. It should be a great item for the sly and creative people who loves to coyly hide them in hardest locations possible.

Did you say velvet? We say *yes*. New velvet tops at +DV8+ this week, 'Morrighan'. It can be casual, or it can be dressed up - just depends on what you decide to wear it with, really. And we threw in the pants - to make sure you'd have something to wear them with right away! This is also the first of the holiday colors - they'll be available all year 'round... but I'm a holiday freak, and I loooooove Christmas. So - keep your eyes out, because the holiday stuff starts comin now! Oh - you can score some of these for free, too - keep reading. ;)

So I went rummaging through my inventory and discovered I had exactly NO velvety pajamas. FOUL! And of course, it had to be fixed immediately. And then I decided you needed some too. So! Velvety pajama camis and shorts, on a bunch of different layers. Woot! You can score some of THESE for free too... keep on readin'. ;)

We had cyber ears. We had steam ears. We even had rivet ears. But what about the deathrock? Oooh, can't ignore the deathrock... and now we haven't! 19 colors to choose from - with velvet ear interiors that change textures to match your favorite +DV8+ deathrock stuff. (And the glow on/off, just in case you wanna glow in the dark and spook the locals some night...). Of course, the ears twitch, and have messages in them (and you can add your own too).

Can't have the ears without the tails - right? And you asked, so we've done it - these come tipped OR solid. Mmmhm. Texture change makes the bands on the tail match your favorite +DV8+ deathrock stuff, and of course, it twitches and talks when people touch it. 19 solid colors, 19 tipped versions.

Well, obviously, but the work just kind of disappeared here for a little bit *eyes Vasha and Dys*. Regardless, I'm back with a lot of goodies to show you over the next few days. We're going to start with the newest release, the deathrock Maiko hair style. The newest hair to grace the walls of +DV8+
You can get it in solid colors, or tipped and the headband, and the bands on the hair sticks are color change. You know how these kids love color. There are 19 solids and tips available for straight sale, but you know how generous Vasha and Dys are...
That's right. There is indeed and exclusive 5 pack of Maiko hair in the riot vend now. As always the riot vend will put out for only 25L, because it is a dirty, dirty riot vend and wants to give away the goods for cheap, that's just how it rolls.

Huge update today, We have everything for everyone, from clothes, shoes, piercings and accessories, stuff for the Furs and then, of course, there are a couple of awesome freebies and cheapies in the store if you're clever enough to find them.

Just a little bit of housekeeping, this Saturday is the start of the Slice of Summer hunt, and DV8 will be participating, so better jot that down in your planner.

I give Faderhead a really hard time. A really hard time. But at the end of the day, I still listen to him, and TZDV is probably one of his songs that is most fun to dance to. (Right behind electrosluts). Well, my darling Vasha has immortalized TZDV into hair, and quite effectively I might add. The moment I put it on I was in love.

DV8 Hair Fair Preview

Hey there kids, you might know me, you might not, but from now on I'll be your guide to all things +DV8+. My name is Wrenja Czaczkes, and I run the somewhat infamous blog Love/Hate, which you'll find in the links section to the right. Today I've got some goodies to show you which will be appearing at Hair Fair, so get your drool cups ready, cause you know you're going to want these.

This style is called 'Dreadful' as you might notice, and comes in either a cyberpunk or a steampunk style, which is called 'Dreadful steam'. Dreadful comes with three styles per color, so you can decide whether you want a solid color, scripted colorchange dreads, or the colorchange dreads with glow.
'Dreadful Steam' comes in a solid color, in the normal colors for DV8's steampunk line of hairs, all of which are rich and totally yummy. I'll have more hair to show you for Hair Fair soon, so stay tuned.

Well, the Rivet Kitteh boots went out - and we can't have that without some matching ears and tails!

Ears!! They twitch, and have an interactive touch menu that lets people nom on your ears, or blow in them, and other stuff. Or you can edit it. The insides can glow, or now - since they have glow on/off commands. And of course, the infamous 616 color change. Yay!

Mmmm, and tails. These match those badass Rivet Kitteh boots also - in more ways that one. The straps on these tail have texture change - so you can set them to match whichever pair of badass Rivet Kitteh boots you're wearing today. They also twitch and wag (or not), and have an interactive touch menu - which you can also edit. \o/

When we released Gothjamas, several of the models freaked right out and said please, please, PLEASE make the pajama top into something we can wear with other stuff too! So we did.

Skull Slut Too is an alternate top to go with the Skull Slut outfits (instead of the cami tops). All nine colors in one package, and just like the camis, these bra-shaped tops are on two layers. Seriously, pay attention - ONLY the bra-shaped tops are in this package. The rest of the Skull Slut outfits are sold separately.

A lot of you asked for these - shoving notes in our comment box at the store and twenties in our g-strings... so, fine! Here they are, in all their cyber hoofy goodness. You can turn the glow on and off with chat commands, change the color of the colored bits, and set the shine level to none, low, medium, or high. They come in small and large sizes, and completely replace your leg from the knee down. You haven't stomped 'til you've stomped in these Cyber Hooves!

Not the hoof type? Okay - how about some cyber boots? Something different than the usual crunchy bot boots - sleek, fitted, and great curves... while still being shiny and glowie and ready to kick ass. Crunchy bits and spikes, too - and the colored bands have scripted color change. Rawr!

Something Different: Sound Spheres

As many of you know, we haven't just made pretty things for sale in a store - we've also built an entire SIM, and helped a few other people out with their builds, too. Through the process of this, we created some environmental sounds - and it was brought to our attention that other people might appreciate being able to acquire the environmental sounds we've created for their own builds. So! You won't find them in the store, but you can find them on SLX if it's the kind of thing you're looking for: copiable environmental audio awesomeness for a misty harbor, haunted chamber, or sewer/flooded cavern. \o/

Several of you asked (bribed, pleaded, badgered) for ears to match the Elektra Cybertails - so here they are. In nine tasty colors, just like the tails - with color changing parts, twitch options, and an interactive touch menu so everyone else can enjoy your ears too. Want all 9 colors? You get a deal on the fat pack. Cuz we luffs you. (And I'll show off the Elektra Cyber Tails again, since that's what they match.)

But then, you see... there is kitteh ears and no bunneh! Psh! We have Cyber Bunneh Ears too, just in time for Christmas. (Okay, I don't see how that matters when they're no transfer, but it sounded good.) Also in nine colors, also with color changing parts, twitch options, and an interactive touch menu. The First New Product Releases!

Hello all you +DV8+ Deviants,

First off we'd like to thank you all for coming to our grand opening on Sunday we appreciate it greatly. Also we would like to thank you for subscribing to the DV8 subscribomatic. We will be releasing new items once a week on Tuesdays from here on out. YAY! Ok, the winter holidays F-it, X-Mas is coming right around the corner and we have new products to help stuff those stockings, or if you're poor like me, smelly dirty socks that I'm drying over the fire place that that cruel fat bastard thinks it's funny to shove candy in once a year.

OK, on to the New items of the week ^^

Our first item this week is a set of Electronic DJ Headphones. These were inspired to help hypnotize your listeners or even the people around in to mystically giving you their lindens, and it can really help accent your flashy glowie outfit. Because they’re just isn't enough glowie stuff in the vast digital world. The inner and outer lights change separately and they fit on your ear, chin (for you neko and usagi) or around you neck incase the thumping beats get too loud.

Our second item or should I say set of items is a complete Cylounge Furniture Set. You thought you had poses in your other furniture? With our Unique pose set and menu, little compares to the array of poses that you have in these. The have everything from Cuddles, Snuggles, casual (you know for friends that you don't want to feel up) and alone poses that can all easily be accessed from a menu. Not only does this set of furniture have an abundance of poses it also changes colors and textures so it can match any room. So now you can impress your friends with your "new furniture" every week FOR-EVER! These items can be bought separatly or get a deal on the whole set! Woot!
